God has been so faithful. I’ve learned that on this walk, the closer you get to the promise, the harder it is to remain focused and not get distracted. My method for keeping my eyes on the Lord is praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). I seek counsel from the Lord and direction through praying with a receiving heart , especially when things heat up! Whether emotional, having a rough day or even in my joy I pray to seek His face in all that I do and whatever is in front of me. This helps my relationship, trust that my next move is in order and to keep my mind off things around me, in turn, I focus on Jesus. He will never be a distraction, but immediate direction.
