Rooted Faith Ministry was curated to empower women to live boldly in their faith, embrace sisterhood, and grow through Bible study and outreach. We are dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering a supportive community, and inspiring women to step confidently into their God-given purpose with love, strength, and unity. Through worship, connection, and service, we cultivate a foundation of rooted faith that transforms lives and impacts the world around us.

Rooted Faith Ministry is designed for young women ages 16 and up who are seeking to live boldly in their faith and grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. This ministry was created to provide a nurturing space where women can thrive spiritually, emotionally, and socially. We aim to empower women to embrace their identity in Christ, step confidently into their calling, and navigate life’s challenges with unwavering faith.
Through Bible study, sisterhood, and outreach, Rooted Faith Ministry offers the tools, resources, and support necessary for women to pursue excellence in all areas of life—whether in their personal walk with God, their education, careers, or relationships. By fostering a strong sense of community, we create an environment where women can connect, encourage one another, and build lifelong friendships grounded in faith.
Rooted Faith Ministry was created to meet the unique needs of young women today—offering mentorship, practical resources, and spiritual guidance so they can stand firm in their faith, live with purpose, and impact the world around them for the glory of God.
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

THE FIG IN OUR STORY
At Rooted Faith Ministry, the fig symbolizes spiritual growth, abundance, and God's provision, drawing from its deep biblical significance. In the Bible, the fig tree is often associated with peace, prosperity, and the flourishing of God's people (Jeremiah 29:5-7, Micah 4:4). The fig represents a life deeply rooted in faith, bearing fruit in due season, and standing firm through the seasons of life. Just as a fig tree grows from deep roots, we desire to help women become rooted in their faith in Christ, flourishing in all areas of their lives. The fig also symbolizes the nourishment and shelter that God provides, reminding us that, when we remain connected to Him, we are sustained and empowered to grow and impact the world around us.

Founder/Bible Study Lead
Rooted Faith Ministry was founded in August 2024 by Jamis Cary. A passionate woman of faith with a deep desire to cultivate godly friendships, respond to the call God has placed on her life, and empower women to walk boldly in their faith. Driven by a heart for community and a love for helping women grow spiritually, she created this ministry to provide a space where women of all walks of life can connect, thrive, and support one another in their journey with Christ. Through Rooted Faith Ministry, Jamis is dedicated to fostering authentic relationships, offering practical resources, and creating opportunities for women to step into their divine purpose with confidence and grace.
Meaka Como
Co-Founder/Event Coordinator
Meaka is a devoted servant-leader with a heart for God and a passion for people. Guided by faith and a deep sense of purpose, she finds joy in serving others and living out the love of Christ in practical ways. Whether volunteering in the community or mentoring youth; she believes that true greatness is found in humility and service. With a spirit of compassion and a commitment to making a difference, Meaka strives to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever God leads.
Kendall Robinson
Event Coordinator/Moderator
Kendall serves as the event coordinator and moderator for Rooted Faith Ministry, where she combines her organizational skills and deep passion for faith-based community engagement. As a dedicated Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience, Kendall brings compassion, leadership, and a nurturing spirit into every aspect of ministry. Her dual calling in healthcare and ministry empowers her to create meaningful, impactful events, that support spiritual growth, healing, and fellowship. Kendall is committed to helping others stay rooted in faith while navigating life’s many seasons.
