Our mission

At Rooted Faith Ministry, we believe that faith is not only a personal journey— it is a call to action. Our outreach program to feed the homeless is one of the most powerful expressions of that call. It stands on the firm foundation of biblical principles, genuine compassion, and unwavering commitment to serve those in need. This mission is not merely charity; it is ministry. It is worship. It is love in action.

BIBLICAL  FOUNDATION

Our outreach is inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35. "For I was hungry and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in."

These words aren't just a reminder— they are a command. A call for believers to extend God's love beyond the four walls of the church building, into the streets, shelters, and encampments where His people are hurting.

We also draw strength from Proverbs 19:17: "whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed." This principle fuels our passion: that when we serve the homeless, we are serving Christ Himself.

FEEDING MATTERS

Hunger is more than a lack of food— it is a symbol of isolation, neglect, and despair. A hot meal is often the first step toward healing. It says: "You are seen. You are loved. You matter."

Feeding the homeless is not a solution in itself, but it is a seed— one that can grow into restored hope, trust in God and a renewed sense of worth. It opens the door for deeper ministry, offering opportunities to connect individuals with housing resources, employment support, and spiritual counseling.
